Work

And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.

Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us. Establish the work of our hands for us. Yes, establish the work of our hands.

Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work, nor plan, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol, where you are going.

The hands of the diligent ones shall rule, but laziness ends in slave labor.

In all hard work there is profit, but the talk of the lips leads only to poverty.

Wealth gained dishonestly dwindles away, but he who gathers by hand makes it grow.

A man’s heart plans his course, but the LORD directs his steps.

But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed.

But if anyone doesn’t provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: “If anyone is not willing to work, don’t let him eat.” For we hear of some who walk among you in rebellion, who don’t work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are that way, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that they work with quietness and eat their own bread. But you, brothers, don’t be weary in doing what is right.

Commit your deeds to the LORD, and your plans shall succeed.
